Back on Track Hock Boots provide gentle warmth therapy for your horse’s hocks giving you another choice for dealing with arthritic hocks, capped hocks or high suspensory injuries.

Consisting of a neoprene exterior, the interior of the boot is infused with state-of-the-art Welltex fabric containing ceramic powder which reflects your horse’s natural body warmth and creates a soothing infrared thermal warmth. This is a well recognized method used to help relieve and heal injured muscles, joints, and tendons.

The boot fastens around the hock but leaves the hock point uncovered. Attached velcro straps allow you to adjust the boots fit.

Ideal to use for injury prevention or recovery.

Sold in pairs (one left and one right).

Measurement of Hock Boots: (diameter size of hole 3 1/4 inch). Take measurement 5 inches above center of hock and 6.5 inches below center of hock.

Review:
I bought the hock boots based on recommendations on a Hunter-Jumper forum.
They work wonders on my 25 yo TWH with hock arthritis. He wears them 3 - 4 hours every morning before turnout. He no longer "stumps" when walking out of his stall. His Walking Horse back end is not as swingy as it was when he was ten but it's pretty close.
I have also seen him in a light gallop in the pasture, since using the hock wraps. I haven't seen him willing to gallop at liberty for a few years.
He can't have injections due to metabolic issues; the hock wraps have far exceeded my expectations for improving his comfort level.
Well worth the investment. Ease of use/attachment is great.
